Power: Kinetic energy control. In and around his body, Ichiro can form a kinetic force field. He can create a powerful personal shield that can stop light arms, but it is limited to actual physical objects. Electricity, heat and light all pass through without any difficulty. He can use this to exert about 100 tonnes on objects he is in contact with, although that is a great strain on his concentration, as well as requiring great physical efforts. His power extends slightly beyond this, however, as with some increased effort, he can reach out about 3 feet with small kinetic fields. This allow him to easily snatch a bullet out of the air, lift a book, and generally any object under 50 pounds. By focusing and putting more force into his kinetic barrier, he can fire these objects back, or launch air or water pressure blasts. These blasts typically are hurricane force, but only at around 20 meters (books and other objects fly pretty fast, enough to knock an average person to the ground). After 45 to 50 meters, they aren't even noticeable as they have lost a great deal of energy. However, he can channel all of his power into a single blast, generating the force of a small bomb, and devastating an area of about 100 meters in all directions. He can do this but once, after which he needs a full day to recover.

An extension of this power, he can blast himself off the ground in a short 'rocket jump', reaching about 40 stories into the air. These take some effort as well, with full powered jumps tiring him out within about 12 consecutive jumps.

History: The Ueda family immigrated to Canada and moved into central Ontario when Ichiro was only 6, from the Osaka area of Japan. Growing up, he was the first child in a traditional, patriarchal household, and was expected and pushed to excel academically. He did so through to the end of high school, with excellent marks in math, history and the physical sciences, and earned several awards for achievement despite being a loner and frequent target of ridicule. By that time, his father was an influential banker and stock expert, and was in the process of having Ichiro admitted to MIT in the US for his postsecondary education. Tests for aptitude and academic fulfillment were conducted shortly after high school, and Ichiro passed with flying colours. With his future at MIT all but assured, Ichiro's final examination before the application was put forth was a notable success for the young student. Letting out a cheer of triumph, the normally restrained and quiet youth let loose with his powers for the first time, and it was a startling occasion for all involved. He created a powerful air pressure wave, which had similar effects to a bomb. In the resulting collapse of the Robarts library at the University campus, Ichiro emerged physically unscathed due to his unconscious creation of a shield, but intensely frightened. He fled the campus, terrified of it happening again, and eventually left Toronto to become a drifter, aimlessly wandering North America and taking low profile jobs to live off of. He recently has come to Drenfield hoping to finish his studies and with the hopes that he will be able to cope with his abilities.

Looks: Ichiro is of obvious Japanese descent, with tan skin, black hair and brown eyes. He stands at 5'7" and weighs 167lbs. He has a moderate frame and is thin, and somewhat scrawny. He has average musculature and unremarkable features.

Personality: Ichiro is shy and quiet, almost whispering and usually trying to go unnoticed. He is calm, but can become upset and rattled if pressure is applied. He is a classic introvert, and is for all intents a pacifist and teetotaler, although this is more due to him avoiding violence and alcohol due to his meek nature.

Anything else we should know: Well, if you must, he's never cooked and is a disaster in the kitchen, but he does make a mean batch of ice cream if one has access to liquid nitrogen.

I am liking everything so far except for the fact that you are a walking nuke without restriction. I do like the powers, though flying is a bit much, I am concerned by the fact that your abilities as stated far exceed any other character and even a couple villains for the site. I am a power player by nature, so I am not opposed to the variety of your powers but the scope is something that needs to be toned down.

I am more than open to discussing this one out because I like the idea and what ass kicking could come from it.
